My passion for the nonprofit world truly began in my childhood. My mother taught me the value of giving back by example, from her service on the Little League Board of Directors to her work in keeping our small church open by hosting spaghetti fundraising and taking turns cleaning. As a young stay-at-home mother with a background in English, I began my nonprofit journey as a way use my talents in writing to serve on an emerging nonprofit’s board as a volunteer grant writer. This evolved into a paid position as the organization’s first Director of Development.

Since then, I have taken many certifications, classes, and courses, been mentored by some of the best in the industry, volunteered my time, and worked with dozens of organizations to learn everything I could about the nonprofit world. Inspired by the passion and drive by so many I have partnered with, I am now proud to share my experience and knowledge help create foundationally and financially sound nonprofits to bring sustainable, impactful change through 1:1 coaching, grant research and review, strategic planning, Board development, and more.
